The proposal was very cute. It was our first night in our home we had bought. Matt was acting strange all night! We only had bean bags in the house so I was on the Kmart website, when I turned around he was on one knee. We celebrated by drinking straight out of a warm champagne bottle!
The Big Day
The location was at Kauri Bay Boomrock and it was special to us because it had the perfect mix of class and casual. Being on a farm and overlooking the bay was perfect and match our personalities completely. We're laidback and we love the water.
We wanted a modern, chic wedding. Black and white, white flowers with dark greenery, black suits and all our stationery was white and black. The view at Kauri Bay speaks for its self so wanted to emphasise that.
From One Bride to Another
I was surprised how relaxed I was and how incredible it is to have all your most favourite and special people with you, especially after Covid. I'd tell other brides-to-be to take time on the night to spend with your partner. It goes so quickly! Don’t stress over small things, enjoy the day, it truly is the best day of your life!
The Bridesmaids Dresses
The girls loved them as there were so many options which was perfect. Colour was great, I originally wanted a custom colour but Blak was amazing at figuring out the colour and material I wanted it on! They had never put the colour on that specific material so didn’t know what to expect. But I loved it!
