* Custom colours - If you require a customer colour this is a $50.00 charge per order. You will need to select the custom colour product, this is one fee per order not per dress.
Once you custom colour order is placed we will liaise with you on your colour details, you will be required to send a swatch for our dyers to match (this can be in the form of a piece of fabric or paint colour swatch - unfortunately by email is not accurate enough) - custom colour is an extra 6 weeks for the colour approval process, this time frame starts from the date your colour swatch is received

PAYMENTFull payment is required before we start your orderTIMEFRAMEOur timeframe spans from 8-14 weeks from order to ownership. The sample range is available for complimentary in store appointments to ensure you have tried on and are happy with with your selected size.We take great pride in providing our customers with impeccable quality product. While every endeavour is made to accurately reproduce our colours, there may be a variation in colour shade to your final purchase. As each order is dyed separately to your order specifications each dye batch can have a sight colour variation. This Variation can occur due to the nature of the fabric dyes and dying process, the amount of fabric being dyed at any one time and climatic conditions like temperature at time of dying.If an ordering multiple dresses for the one bridal party, please ensure to either order all together or note this at the time of purchase so we can ensure the order is dyed together in the same dye batch, as each dye batch can vary slightly.Every effort has been made to present the colours as close as possible to the correct colour via our online store, but this cannot be guaranteed as each screen may show a different variation of the colour.CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNSDue to this being a made to order product there are no cancellations, changes, returns or credits for other BLAK products.Any issues on the garments must be raised at the time of pick up or on arrival to you by courier. If the garments need to be returned for inspection this must be done within 24 hours of receiving. If an issue arises, BLAK must have the opportunity to inspect this and come to an agreement with the customer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do all of your styles come in each of your fabric and colour options?
Yes, every one of our styles is able to be created in any of our fabric and colour options - as well as custom colours.
What are the fabric options?
Viscose: A beautiful soft and draped fabric, that breathes well, and feels light to the touch
Viscose Twill: A heavier fabric, with more structure and a high lustre sheen
Viscose Satin Crepe: A draped fabric, with a slight weave; it features a satin face and a crepe back, we primarily use the ‘glossy’ satin side.
How do I go about ordering a custom colour?
First step, provide us with your perfect colour/s - we will then have our skilled dyers aim to match that shade. This adds an additional 8 weeks to the creation process, as we will need to have the swatch approved before going ahead with your designs. Please note due to each piece being hand dyed, and in small batches, there may be a slight colour variation - we suggest all items are purchased together to ensure the same production batch, which will avoid any variation in colour.
We charge an additional $50 to your overall order to cover the custom work.
How do I order, and how long does it take?
There are two ways to order, either online here, or in store at either BLAK Newmarket or BLAKCHAOS Mount Maunganui. Once confirmed, and paid for in full, production will commence on your pieces: this can take between 8 - 14 weeks, or in our busier season (September to February) please expect 12 - 18 weeks.
When placing your order for your bridal party, we suggest that all items are purchased together; this ensures the full order comes from the same production batch, to avoid any variation in dress colour.
Once your order arrives in store, we will contact you, not prior - however, if there is any delay in production you will be notified.
You will then be able to collect in store, or have couriered.

I live away from your store locations, yet want to have my bridesmaids try outfits on,
what should I do?
We offer a sample service, where we courier pieces to you; You choose up to 4 dresses, for $50 and we will include a return courier ticket in the cost. You will have 48hours to return these pieces after arrival.
Are appointments necessary?
While the collection is able to be viewed year round, in stores, we recommend booking an appointment. By booking with us, it means you, and your group, are able to get the most out of your time, we are able to focus solely on you and your needs. Am i able to choose styles from your mainline as well?
Am I able to have alterations?
We are able to alter the length of the pieces prior to ordering, free of charge. Any alterations after the dresses are ordered will need to be made with your local alterations company.
What if one of my bridesmaids lives overseas, what do I do about organising something?
We offer virtual appointments at the discretion of our bridesmaids’ stylists, please get in touch via

Is there a refund or exchange policy on your bridesmaids dresses?
Due to the styles being made to order, there are no refunds or exchanges.
What if I needed a matching outfit for my younger/smaller bridal party members are you able to create outfits?
At present this isn't an option, however we will sell you extra fabric in the same colour as dresses ordered. Pricing on request.
If you'd like to purchase a BLAK item but need custom sizing or a custom fit, click through here to enter the details about the garment you'd like and a BLAK team member will contact you to process your request. All requests are subject to confirmation, and completing this form does not constitute an order. All custom made garments cannot be returned or exchanged and custom orders generally take around 8-10 weeks.
The following excludes our made to order bridesmaids range.

CLICK & COLLECT
At checkout we offer the option to collect from either of our locations, simply choose your store, date and time. This option is free, and can be same day pick up.
TRACKING & COURIERS
We use NZ Post Courier for most deliveries. A tracking number will be emailed to you when your order has been dispatched, you will then be able to follow the progress of your delivery through the link supplied.International orders will either use Nz Post Courier or DHL.
Shipping in New Zealand is FREE on all orders over $200! Standard rate shipping for orders under $200 is a $6 flat rate. Shipping within New Zealand will generally take between 2 - 3 working days. Rural deliveries may require an extra 1-2 days.
International shipping is a $25 flat rate. Shipping time frames for international orders are between 5 - 10 days. If you require an urgent or delivery please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to make this happen for you (there may be an extra cost)
Extra fees for duties and taxes may be charged to you as the purchaser from your local government upon your item entering your country if you have exceeded your local threshold levels. As it varies from country to country, you are best to refer to your local customs office for charges that may occur.
We understand it can be tricky ordering online without trying on your items. If for any reason your item is not as expected, we are more than happy to help you exchange or to fully refund your purchase within 14 days of your purchase. This applies to all items but excludes our made to order Bridesmaids service or custom-made mainline orders. Please return items in unused condition with original tags, with the return form and reason for return to:
