10 Ways to Refresh your Wardrobe for Spring

10 Ways to Refresh your Wardrobe for Spring

Transitioning your wardrobe from winter to spring has to be one of the sweetest sartorial experiences we all get to have every year - all the fresh colours, lighter materials and peeps of bare skin as we welcome the sunshine back into our lives.

Let's take a look at the evergreen spring outfit strategies you can count on, and the trends we're loving for the season ahead.

1. THE COSY COVER UP

Outsmart the seasonal weather changes with a versatile layer. The humble cardigan gets a chic upgrade with the wrap style Precious Cardi, now in black and white cotton yarn. We love the cute tie back and the deep v-neckline is gorgeous when worn on it's own. Try wearing it backwards for a completely different look, or pop it on over slip dresses, camisoles or tank tops.

2. POWER MOVES

Everybody needs that 'wow' moment in their wardrobe, and for spring, we've got just the ticket with our Power Dress. This bias cut satin midi dress has a gorgeous little flutter sleeve and a curve-skimming silhouette in this Italian Blue or sultry Espresso.

3. SKIRTING AROUND

You can't beat the comfort of a gorgeous linen midi skirt for spring and summer, and the Poet Skirt is a beautiful specimen with a shirred waistband, volume and length. We'll be living in ours all season!

4. CUT IT OUT

The cut out is the trend that won't quit, and we can see why! A peekaboo of bare skin is the perfect way to modernize a look. The cut out is a signature move throughout our Pre-Spring collection - look out for the Every Breath You Take Dress, After Hours Dress and the Idol Dress (pictured) for your show-stopper cut out moment.

5. BEING GREEN

Bold shades of green are still on the trend list for spring/summer this year, and we say the bolder the better! There's the Every Breath You Take Dress (pictured), Fusion Dress (you're going to want to see that colour!) and the soon-to-arrive silky green Artisan Shirt

6. TOP COAT

A trench coat is always a smart investment, and our made in New Zealand Chase Coat has the best silhouette with a cinched in waist. You have to try it to believe it - and you'll wear it with everything for spring.

7. BLUE SKY THINKING

Another trending shade for spring/summer is beautiful blue - and we've got you covered with the bold Nina Sweater (pictured), soft pastel Friday Skirt and light, delicate blues throughout the rest of the collection.

8. MIDI MAGIC

Having a perfect midi dress to make you feel amazing for any occasion (or just for an elevated everyday look) is a must for spring. Our Natural Beauty Dress in linen is so classic and flattering and dresses up or down with heels or flat sandals.

9. THE LINEN IS EASY

A linen pant to wear everyday, to the office, on holiday or on the weekend is a no-brainer, and our Fever Pant (pictured) or Trail Blazer Pant are both amazing options. Hot tip - the Trail Blazer is a great choice for shorter gals and the Fever Pant gives you legs for days if you're a taller babe!

10. FRESH BLOOMS

Florals for spring are a given! We have two floral prints in bloom in the Pre-Spring collection, the bold big format print as seen on the Heart and Soul Slip (pictured) and the Salina Dress, and a sweet ditsy floral on the Love Me More and Harlow Dress.
