LAKEFRONT WEDDING IN THE DEEP SOUTH

Dress Dilemma: I'm looking for a midi length dress - I don't really mind what colour but I would like something that suits a smaller bust. 

As with any natural setting for a wedding, the vibe will be a little more relaxed than an indoor scenario. However, a lakefront wedding in the beautiful South Island will have a serene majesty to it with those breathtaking vistas. So, we'd suggest something will a little bit of drama to it, to suit the gravity of the setting. 

The Bow Slip is a gorgeous option, in that sparkling deep emerald green hue. It feels elegant, without fuss while being flattering and feminine - you'll feel like a million dollars! The thing we love about the Bow Slip is that the tie straps are adjustable, so you could wear it low without a bra, or affix it a bit higher to sit beautifully over your strapless bra.





HIGH SUMMER NUPTIALS 

Dress Dilemma: The wedding is cocktail style, but it's in the height of summer, and I'm pregnant!

The style that immediately comes to mind is the Stargazer Halter - it has that dressy cocktail vibe to it, with the high neck and bow at the back, with the stunning army green colour and bare shoulders. It sold out in it's first run but we've just brought it back and it'll show off a baby bump so beautifully!

If you want something a little more relaxed, we'd go for the Flora Cami Dress. It's breezy, breathable and beautiful! We have it in several colours and it's so comfortable to wear - just dress it up with a cute heeled sandal and accessories! Our top pick would be the new textured light blue style, it's something special!

SMART CASUAL WEDDING ON THE SAND

Dress Dilemma: I'm looking for a dress to wear to a beach wedding - the vibe is smart casual!

The beach provides a gorgeous setting for a wedding, but it does create a challenge - guests have to tread the fine line between beach-appropriate and formal enough to suit the occasion! Smart casual is a notoriously difficult brief too!

Two styles that would be on the top of our list for a smart casual beach wedding would be the Timmy Tunic and the Wonder Dress.

The Timmy Tunic has that dressy element with the one shoulder cut, but feels approachable and easy in linen. We have two colours, the deep amber and the soft lilac, which would both be stunning against a beach backdrop!

The Wonder Dress again feels easy to wear; comfortable and casual, but has this amazing sleeve ruffle and a mini length in linen; it would be so simple to dress up with a bold lip or statement jewels.

DAY TO NIGHT HEN'S DO

Dress Dilemma: I'm still looking for a dress for my hen's do, and it's only a week away! All the girls are wearing black so I need something white or pink, and it has to be good for day activities and for going out at night too!

Our two favourites options for a summer hen's do would be the silky Rogue Slip, and the Cupid Dress in bold candy pink!

The Rogue Slip is such a fun, girly number in our exclusive rose print with shades of pink that make it the perfect hen's do pick. It feels wearable but dressy, and can go from day to night with ease. 

The Cupid Dress has returned, but it won't stick around for long in the new candy pink shade. It's such a pretty dress that feels playful and special for the lead up to your big day, and works perfectly day and night.



RUSTIC BOHO BRIDESMAIDS

Dress Dilemma: My wedding is coming up in May and we have a grey blue colour scheme with a boho rustic look. I need to decide what style to put my bridesmaids in!

Boho and rustic vibes are popular wedding themes for a reason; they marry laidback style with a delicate, pretty sensibility and a down to earth glamour.
